Mindfulness & Nutrition Course
Transform your relationship with food.
Service Description
A 4-Week Mindfulness and Nutrition Course led by Natasha Martins and Fabrizio Pesce. Every Tuesday, beginning 5 November 2024. From 7pm to 9pm Total cost of the course £100. Across the globe, we are seeing an increase in chronic diseases linked to poor nutrition. While people are living longer, the rise in conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension highlights the risks associated with unhealthy eating habits. It is important to begin considering preventative measures to disease, such as maintaining a balanced diet and healthy, mindful lifestyle. If you wish to learn how healthy living and eating can promote a sustainable, longer life, this course is for you. The course will focus on four key areas: -Self-Observation: Helping you identify and change your relationship with food, reconnecting with yourself as a unity of body, mind and spirit. -Wisdom: Teaching you how to listen and learn what your body needs at the different stages of your life. -Mindfulness: Demonstrating how to meditate, live in the present, and be aware of the impact of food, drink and emotions on your body. -Gratitude: Enabling you to enjoy life, appreciate food and be thankful for the unity of body and mind. Building on their popular and practical sessions at the St Peter's Centre, two experts create a unique 4-Week course connecting the practice of mindfulness and nutrition with learning how to better your relationship with food, and learn the secrets of longevity. Natasha Martins, experienced nutritionist, and Fabrizio Pesce, director and founder of the St Peter's Centre, will explore how to: -Have a balanced and mindful approach to eating and nutrition -Listen to your body by reaching a deeper level of awareness and self-observation. -Reduce risks of preventable diseases and the science of longevity. -Adopt healthier eating habits and make positive changes in your life. -No need to bring anything; materials will be provided.
